Annual servicing of instruments used in any aspect of quality control is very important. Preventative maintenance is an essential tool in avoiding your manufacturing down time. With this in mind may we take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you and provide you with our service information that will be hard to beat.
Service Contracts
Your quotation is based on the instruments you wish to cover including labour on site and travel. Parts used are charged additionally. There are 2 main options:
- PM1 contract ~ one annual service visit. Should you require any breakdown visits they are charged at a reduced rate.
- PM2 contract ~ two annual service visits. 10% contract discount. Breakdown visits are charged at a reduced rate.
With our contracts
- Comprehensive parts kits are carried by all engineers. Based on our experience not only the standard consumables but the parts which are known to fail .
- Discount parts.
- Work carried out by qualified experienced engineers.
- All our electronic test instruments used during servicing/repairs are calibrated to Namas traceable standards. Signed paper work is produced for every instrument containing details of actions taken and parts replaced with a duplicate copy maintained in our offices in a customer history file.
- Non standard service spares needed or problems are brought to the customer’s attention prior to any work being carried out.
We provide as part of the service
- Free telephone support, we will always attempt to solve your problem over the telephone first
, saving you both time and money on call outs. - Where available, free loan instrument, should we need to remove your instrument from site for longer periods of time.
- Fully documented service / repair sheet.
- Service warranty.
- 24-48 hour workday call out service.
- Visual inspection for correct installation, damage or risk.
HPLC
- Pump flow rate and accuracy over 2 settings, pressure zero, upper lower cut offs.
- Detector wavelength accuracy and energy 2 peaks.
- LC autosampler reproducibility C.V. over test 5 samples.
- Oven temp accuracy over 2 settings.
- Integrator linearity over 4 settings.
- System pressure/leak test.
- Cooling fans checked, gas/liquid joints, connections, internally cleaned, lubricate where required.
External clean.
GC
- Visual inspection for correct installation, damage or risk.
- Injector strip and clean, seal & liner check.
- Detector strip and clean, worn parts replaced, voltage check.
- System pressure/leak test.
- Cooling fans checked , gas/liquid joints, connections, internal dust removed, lubricate
External clean.
Air Compressor
- Visual inspection for correct installation, damage or risk.
- Oil change
- Seals changed
By separate agreement we can provide
With or without contract cover we can offer to repair your system on an hourly basis either at your site or send in to our workshop.
A customised service contract package can be made to assist in your return to service procedures for example calibration, additional tests, additional test points.
